Soyabean Poha

It's something new I tried in past few months. Poha is a very familiar dish in all over India and is originally from Maharashtra and very popular.
Poha is usually have Kanda (onion) and also (potatoes). But I tried to bring up something new and more healthier.
Soyabean  badi is rich in protein and is a better option in place of potatoes, I find it yummy. Try it once hope you all will like it too.
So here is the recipe below-

Ingredients:-
1.flattened rice 1 cup - 200gm (soaked for 2 minutes)
2. Soyabean 1/2 cup - 30-40gm (soaked for 1 hour)
3. Tomatoes - 1 finely chopped
4. Onion - 1 finely chopped
5. Few curry leaves
6. White urad dal - 1/2 tbspn
7. Mustard Seeds - 1/2 tbspn
8. Green chillies -3
9. Oil- 2 tbspn
10. Salt - 1/2 tbspn
11. Coriander

Method:-
• Take 2 tbspn of oil in a kadhai and then put 1/2 tbspn of Mustard seeds, 1/2 tbspn white urad dal, 4-5 curry leaves and slit green chillies.
• Then after the tadka add finely chopped onions.
• After the onions turns golden-brown add 1 finely chopped tomatoes.
• when the tomatoes are done add 1/2 cup soaked soyabean badi, fry them with onions and tomatoes.
• Then in the mean time wash the flattened rice and drain the excess water and keep it for 2 minutes for the absorption of water in them.
• Then when the soyabean badi is done add the soaked flattened rice and then salt.
• Mix them evenly and cook well untill the salt mixes with everything.

•  Plate it and Garnish it with some coriander leaves. (Optional)

As this is a new idea to make your kids fall in love with the combination of Poha and soyabean badi.
